OOpps? case length trim issue?

I sized and loaded some 30-06 cases tonight, an when i Trimmed on the lee zipper, i used the 7mm rem mag Gauge..... haha. i couldnt get it to come off an pecs looked fairly close...

am i out by a little bit? and if so, only 4 or 5 of the 30 had any contact of the cutter...

Should be alright from my Googling researches

normally i use a 270 CLG that the pin has been broken off, so my 30-06 brass i think ends up a MM o the other (short) side anyway?

When I check length of once fired cases they are usually short of trim length, of .01 less than SAAMI spec.

A bit short won't matter.

If you shoot a few thousand that are too short it can accelerate throat erosion.

I can see the location changing, but the rate would stay the same. extra powder is not being burned.
