I have a savage model 99e in a .308 cal and i accidentally purchased .308 mar exp Hornady lever evolution rounds ( only seeing the lever evolution part I guess.). I compared the mar exp rounds to the Hornady .308 rounds I normally shoot and there seems to be a bit of a size difference. Im sure they were designed for all lever rifles but thought i'd ask anyway. All and any insight would be great, thanks GunNutz.

Definitly a different cartridge! 308 win and 308 marlin are NOT interchangeable.

You said it yourself makeing note of a "size difference". Best to sell em or trade for some 308.

why not just buy another rifle suited for the new ammo? The more guns you have the better.

Thank you everyone. I certainly will not being buying anymore lever evolution ammo for my 99e. in line at the calgary gun show right now I will look around gor a more suitable ammo.
