I'm looking for an op rod spring guide for my Norc M-14.

Who has these in stock right now?

Do I have to order one from the US? If so, will i get dinged with some absurd duty charge?

What kind of effect on accuracy do these have?

all things considered, replacing the standard guide rod with a NM guide rod can potentially give noticeable results..... but may or may not affect measurable accuracy in any given rifle. It's well documented that load selection and a quality barrel are probably the biggest factors in achieveing pinnacles of consistant accuracy.
however the NM guide rod keeps the oprod spring straight upon compression and causes a more consistant return to battery with each shot. The benefits of this are less wear of moving parts and improved barrel harmonics due to the parts moving in a consistant path.

considered a standard and basic upgrade for any M1A or M14 type rifle, they are affordable and user friendly install.

email info@m14doctor.com to order our canadian made NM oprod spring guide rod, just put spring guide rod in the subject title of your email ;) .
made for the chinese spring diameter.... sadlak is bigger and will also require a new, m1a spring
the M14Doctor guide rods are a drop in and go shooting item and are ready for immediate shipping. We have a massive inventory but demand on these parts are high

email sent;)

I got one from M14Doctor and was VERY pleased with both the quality and dealing with him. Really for the price and quality you couldn't go wrong.

Just received one from M14 Doctor and installed it. Great piece! Fits perfect!
Nice finish! Thanks Dave.

Recommend to anyone who needs or wants one....support canadian business!

Cheers,

D.

Thanks guys ... more than happy to help you out!

By the way the O.D. on the M14Doctor spring guide is 0.33" and the I.D. of the USGI spring is 0.34", so there is a difference of 0.01" between the two.

From what I hear, this seems to be working just fine ....

I do have a few of the triangular versions available too. Not nearly as many as the full round, probably about 20 in stock. I have so few of the fluted ones left I cannot sell any more at the moment, but I may make more as I very much like the design. All versions have performed well, and quite a few are now in people's hands.

I did ship a few of the full round guides to Epps about a month ago, if anyone in that
neck of the woods has to see stuff before they buy it ...
