Op rod tightness

I have used red loctite on my op rod guide to fix it and so far it is holding rock solid. The op rod isn't going right to left, but rotates very easily. I notice there is quite a gap, maybe 1/32'' where the op rod slides into the guide. Is the op rod supposed to be 100% tight without any sort of wobbling? Or is it a barrel indexing symptom? Thank you for your answer.
I just checked again and the op rod is actually moving up and down.

I don't think the play there is an issue as it obviously needs to be free to move.
The gap one one side vs the other would barrel index and or op rod straightness......either of which is likely not optimal.

Neither likely has a significant effect on accuracy or function but can be corrected ifnyerpicky.
Barrel index is more an issue of having to stare at a crooked front sight..!#%€¥£#!! Whereas a binding op rod can affect cycling and wear.

Barrel index the rifle ( optimally with parallel bars so it gets perfect...my local gunsmith did it fer $40) then you know that's good so that you have a good base for everything else to line up on.....and have straight sights!

If yer on rod is crooked you may be able to "tweak" it straight or buy a new/better one that is.

It doesn't. I know the barrel isn't properly indexed, I was wondering if it was normal the op rod would be loose even with a tight op rod guide. I was guessing the improper indexing would make the op rod rotating loosely, but maybe I need a new part? I'll check if my op rod is straight.
