I went to my first of hopefully many Cowboy Shoots on Saturday and had a great time. The Twin County Bounty Hunters put on the 2010 Open Range War at the Sydenham Sportmen's Association and about 40 shooters attended from as far away as at least Hamilton. It was a full day that ran us 9am til 4pm.

I'm a greenhorn myself but many shooters commented that the staging was really creative and exciting and they were really impressed with the facilities.

I had my hopes of walking away with the Stainless New Model Vaquero in 45LC but it went to someone a little luckier than me.

Here are a few pics I took and some contact info for anyone interested in Cowboy Action in SW Ontario.

Decent weather, good grub, fun stages, fine pards, just too bad there weren't no Woodford Reserve after the cleanup! Tip of the hat to Buckshot Chuck an' Son of a Gun along with the other Twin County Bounty Hunters for a shoot done right.

Shoot safe, shoot often!

Was my first time attending owen sound and am impressed with the staff and other shooters. One of the best things I like about cowboy shooting is the feeling of being apart of a group and no one argues and complains and we just have fun.

Hats of to the bounty hunters for putting on a good match. Thanks

Cowboy thankyou

We had a great day, all of the Bounty Hunters contributed in some way to the success of Open Range 2010. It is no doubt a sign of what the future holds for Cowboy Action Shooting in ontario......
Many thanks to all who helped or attended, for that is where success really comes from, participation.
Regards
