Open sight suggestions for 10/22

I find my factory sights to be too low, causing me to really have to dig my cheekbone into the stock. This has resulted in more than one miss on game in circumstances when the shooting had to be quick.

I'm looking for a set (front and rear) of open sights (not peep sights) that are higher.

I see that Williams makes a Firesight set for a 10/22, will these sights do the trick and give me the extra height I need? Any other suggestions?

Try to make a set yourself using pieces of plastic and metal, it's not difficult at all.

I have williams firesights on my 1022.

They are high enough I was able to mount a weaver base on the receiver and still be able to see them over the rail without a socope in place they are probably 1/4 inch higher than the standard ones.
