Open sighted Bolt Actions

I'm looking for a bolt action rifle in 30-06. Blued and Walnut. Must have open sights. Does anyone know off-hand which companies make such a thing? Thanks.

Ruger may make one with iron sights as well...

I'm sure there are lots of good ones often on the EE...

CZ550. It's a true Mauser action, controlled round feed, Mauser claw extractor.

CRF = No double feeds.

Hi, River Rat has a VERY nice Parker Hale Safari Deluxe for sale. It's posted in the exchange forum. The price is very nice as well. About half of what you'd pay for a rem, Browning or Winchester. Take a look, tell him I sent you. It has open sights and the scope, whatever you'd prefer.

I havent seen a remington in 5 years or touched one in 20 (thank God) but I'm willing to bet their still putting those cast ramp rears on everything..You know the ones they turned out enough of in 1780 to furnish every gun for the rest of time eternal

North American manufacturer supplied ironsights suck.

They just assume that you;re going to put a scope on the rifle.

I'm not sure if they use the same sights, but when I bought my CZ 452, I looked at a deluxe model.

It had the nicest open sights I've ever seen. Do they use the same sights on the centrefire models?

Judging by their websites, neither ruger or cz make open sighted rifles anymore in non-magnum calibers.
