I'm looking at getting a cost effective skeet gun and I've narrowed it down to the Mossberg Onyx Reserve Sporting and the Condor Competition. From searching online has Mossberg corrected there firing pin issue and the non-firing barrel selector? Thoughts? Experience with either?

Do you have your heart set on an O/U at this point? If not, I suggest you look at used semi's. I saw a used excellent condition Remington 1100 skeet at Ellwood Epps a few weeks ago for something like 360$, which is quite a bit less than one of those new, cheaper O/U's. 1100's have proven themselves to be one of the most reliable semi's ever made. That being said, I own a Stoeger Uplander sxs( basically a sxs version of the condor) in 20 ga for bird hunting and I can't complain. I got it used really cheap and although its a basic, no frills gun, it works. Although I own a Mossberg 500 and love it, I cant speak to the quality of the reserve. Ive heard mixed reviews.
