Opinion on CZ75 TS vs STI Edge

This will be my second gun. I already bought a 9mm CZ75 SP01 Shadow that I will share with my girlfriend.

The reason I'm down to these two is:
-I want something more powerful than a 9mm for my second gun
-I want something that will be good for IPSC, they would be both very good in IPSC standard because of the .40s&w caliber (major)
-I like .40s&w caliber because ammo is not much more expensive than 9mm, but has more kick than a 9mm and is major
-I prefer all metal guns to polymer type guns.
-I prefer full length dust cover guns as well

Now, everywhere I read that the STI is a high end gun and once I get one I won't want anything else. However, the CZ75 TS is also very well rated and cost about half as much as the STi. I prefer the look of the STI, but I don't think looks are worth 1000$ more.

Any opinion? Pros/cons I didn'T think about? I'm literally 50/50 on these two. One day I feel like ordering one or the other...

If anyone wants to suggest anything else, keep in mind what I'm looking for though.
 
I have shot a couple of STI Edge pistols and they are great. I haven't shot a CZ Tactical Sport so I can't comment on how it is but if it was me, I would buy the CZ and save the money for ammo. The Tactical Sports is still a great pistol from what I hear and I'm sure it is as I own many CZ pistols. You will hear more praise for the STI Edge as it's been around a lot longer. It all comes down to the shooter, not the pistol, and the extra $1000+ isn't gonna make you move up the IPSC score board. Just my 2 cents.

edge, its easy enough to find one used with mags on the EE (prob a couple up right now) so you can save some money there and its easier to tune/modify to your liking. if you want a cz style gun for standard get the tanfoglio, more money but more gun

also, its not painted

Why? I ask because the price difference between the TS and Edge is substantial. But the Tanfoglio and STI are much closer, making the STI the easy choice in my mind.
