Opinion on Hornady Lock N Load Auto Charge?

So is the Hornady Lock N Load Auto Charge powder scale worth the price tag? I'm ready to buy one but there is mixed reviews. Anyone have experience with it? Especially using IMR 4064 or Unique? These are the powders I use most.

I have one. It's not the best. Sent it back twice for warranty. I only got mine cause it was a great deal.

I use both of those powders, it’s seems good for Unique, but it does not do well with the 4064. I am looking for an alternative.

Isn't it the one that keeps crapping out and there's a bunch of youtube videos about that? I think it keeps overcharging unless you do some voodoo.

I don't get many overcharges if you set it up properly. I throw varget, 4064, reloader 15 , 16, 17, 22. Does ok with ball powders too. I just don't fully trust it. My reloads are fine with reasonable ES and SD but I'm always looking for a suitable replacement for it. If it's drastically cheaper than other options then give it a go, but if it's close to an rcbs or similar, I would pass

With no first hand experience, I would say its better, LOL. The original charge master was the gold standard for quite some time so I would imagine the LITE would be a safe bet. All these scale/dispensers are going to be similar with issues and limited in accuracy. The A&D fx120i is now the gold standard it seems with all the auto trickle goodness but the price puts it out of reach of a lot of people. Its on my list of purchases, albeit down the list a ways.
