Opinion on the Grizzly Mag Shotgun

Hey guys,

Just bought a grizzly mag 12.5 from a member on here. I am excited for it to show up but waiting on shipping.

What do you guys think of the grizzly mag? Pros? cons? Fun?
Any good for 3 gun?
 
Buy some good hearing protection. It's a loud SOB. I use it for 3 gun and I like it.

I have had 2. The first had feed issues and eventually the "bent bar" inside the frame that acts as part of the ejector bent in half! Canada Ammo totally made good on it and sent me a brand new Grizzly mag! This one feeds like it should and eats up everything i stuff in it! It does kick quite a bit even with a Knoxx recoil reducing stock on it. To sum up i really like it a lot. Even the first one was fun!
 
Have one. Don't like it. Ugly. Heavy. Unreliable. I've don't the fixes and still has issues. Should put it on the ee
 
Bump. Considering one as my back pack quad gun for bear. Obviously I would be testing the hell out of it befor that, but would like to know if a good Grizzly is reliable. I ride a sport quad in the mountains, so a shotty that meets the 26" minimum OAL and takes a magazine would be ideal for fast loading if needed givens that we are not allowed to travel with loaded firearms. Thoughts?

I see the grizzly mag just like a real grizzly!! Unpredictable at best. Dangerous and unreliable! Haha
 
They sure are cool looking but they seem to me to be more of a novelty. I'm looking at getting a grizz soon so I don't have to keep reconfiguring my 870 but I'm leaning to the better reliability of a tube feed system
 
Is the magwell part of the receiver on these? If it's similar to the mag kit for the 870 I wonder if it's possible to convert them back to a tube feed if it doesn't work out for you. Possibly sell the mag adaptor also?
 
Just took mine out to the range today....... worked 97%. Does not like 3" shells. After a couple mags fed through it, she worked like a charm.... 100% happy with mine!
 
I checked one out at my local CT and I wasn't impressed in the least with it. The receiver looked fine and good, but the unit as a whole felt second rate.
 
Does any one have issues with 5 shells in a mag?
I've shoot 12.5 inch ver of Grizzly Mag fed, and it was almost impossible to cycle a mag with 5 rounds.
If I would load 4 shells, then it worked OK

???
