Just did a trade in which I ended up with a S&W 2206 target.
I've read a bit about them, and understand that a few had extractor and some other issues, but assuming it's not a lemon, what are opinions on them? I sold my last .22 pistol a few months ago, and was thinking it might be a one to keep as a plinker.
It appears to be very nice condition, and relatively unused.
Thanks

I've had one for a while and love it. Doesn't compare to a model 41 but for what they are worth they are sweet plinkers and so easy to clean. Also great for introducing new shooters to the sport. Don't dry fire it and keep it clean, will get some FTE's if it's too dirty. Shoot standard velocity ammo only and you won't have any trouble with it.

I have owned one (ended up just buying two 422's) I thought it ran great. I tested it alongside a 422 & 622. I found similar accuracy but the 2206 easier to keep on target due to the slightly heavier weight. If kept clean and lubed you wont have any issues with fte etc. One of the most underrated guns they made IMHO
