Any thoughts about what to put on this?

Thanks guys. The Spectergear CST looks good but the only issue is with my stock saddle. I don't think the stock sling attachment point on my rifle will work with those slings.

Get the Vickers by far the best sling on the market. The Specter was great ...10 years ago, things have moved on since then, 3 point slings are more of a liability than a blessing.was too many things to go wrong with them, get the Vickers.

BFG SOC-C from Farmboy. Awesome sling with 1,2 & 3 point configs. Slightly confusing and complicated, but it does it all.

Disclaimer: My targets are paper only.

isnt there a slot in your stock?I can't tell in the pic.

Yeah its kind of hard to tell but the stock saddle fits to the stock through the slot. The saddle itself then has attachment points on either side but you can't put any strap through the stock. You can barely see the new slot if you look closely toward the butt.

Vickers Combat Applications sling.

I've previously used the BFG SOC-C, and will never ever go back after switching to the VCAS. The quick adjust is invaluable.

The Specter SOP with ERB is a comfortable, well built sling, as is the
Blue Force Gear SOC-C (can't go wrong with the Contractor Pak) and the BFG Vickers VCAS.

Aside from the guys putting their ass on the line in Afghanistan & Iraq, no worries if you want or prefer a 3 point sling. Paper targets at the range aren't shooting back, so you have the freedom to choose what tickle's your fancy.

Viking Tactics 2-point padded sling by 5.11 Tactical (the VTAC)

Did lots of research, asked lots of guys around... Wanted a 3-point sling but everyone told me to go with this 2-point which has the same pros of a 3-point without the cons... And they were right. I love it and it perfectly suits my needs.

Dave's has 'em.

VCAS - hands down

I dont like the VTAC due to the tail can get hung up when the sling is tightened -- no lose ends on the VCAS -- and now they make a padded version for those who dont run around in Armour.

SOC-C is a great sling if your using a bunch of different weapons -- I've used one on a M4A1, Ak-47, CZ-58, PKM, RPK, and M249 para.
But too much (IMHO) for a dedicated weapon setup.

Thanks guys. I checked out the BFG VCAS and it looks like it will attach to my rifle perfectly (with the female M4 forearm adaptor). Also seems to get lots of praise. Worst case scenario, if I don't like it, it will show up on the parts exchange, but it does look promising. Thanks for all the help.
