If so, please do yourself a favor and don't buy it. It's just a straight top cover mount. Pretty much garbage. You'd be better off with a bunch of duct tape. It won't hold solid and you will have shifting zero.
IMO the best sks scope mount it the Choate Drill and tap. This one:

You would if you used a scope long enough to get hit by the ejecting brass. Generally, most red dot scopes would be fine to use as they are short enough to be well clear of any ejecting brass.Do you need a shell deflector with this sort of mount?
