Opinions on Elcan Spectre DR

I've got one mounted on my 14.5" LMT...
As stated in the ar15 revue, it's quite a hunk of glass and metal, but having done some work at the range mixing close in ( 10 to 35M.) at 1X, followed up by switching to the 4X engaging targets at 100M, I was quite happy with the optics, FOV and clarity.
The return to zero seemed quite good after removal/replacement several times.
No real comlaints, and it seems to address the shortcomings of an Elcan or
Aimpoint as well as a fixed optic like an ACOG...
Having said that, I am trialling an ACOG TA31RCO, current Marine Corp issue, on my other 14.5" LMT (don't ask!
) and once you get into using the recommended Binden (both eyes open for close targets) method of use, it's OK.
I plan on keeping both, as well as my various Eotechs and Aimpoints, as, short of a S&B Short Dot, I'm not sure the 'do everthing well' battle optic exists.

i like mine, not that i plan on using it in a real theater of operations. nice and bright. alot better than the old C79.
some say its too big, but its ok for me. if you like you can try out mine.
