Hey I was wondering what fellow glock owners found to be their favorite sights for the glock. There are quite a few different brands with slightly different styles and I was wondering what the popular choice is. Id be using it for a g17. Im aware of Mepro, Trijicon Truglo and Warren Tactical and many have slightly different rear sights, opinions?

Warren tactical, ameriglo "hackathorns" and trijicons. These are what I have on my Glocks and that is my order of preference as well.

I am, personally not a fan of fiber optic sights.

I bought these and I really like them. I pick up the red front sight very easily. They cost me just over $60 shipped to my door.

for those with the fibre optic have u ever had a problem with it falling out? Ive heard a couple people say its happend

I have front sight fibre optics on my glocks and shotgun. Never had an issue.

I don't like fibre optics for the rear though. Prefer all black.

IMO…the type of sights depends on your type of shooting. That said…any metal sights are better than the OEM polymer ones.

I broke the goofy adjustable rear OEM on my g17 and replaced both with mepro. I'm happy with them.

My Shadow has fibre optic front. Never happened to me, but I've seen them break quite regularly, particularly if you're using a holster. That said, you can quickly fix it on the range if you have precut pieces and a lighter...

Yes. I had it disappear when my step-son was shooting the pistol. It seems very difficult to find a proper replacement. Both my glocks and my para came with trijicon sights and I like those.

Lots of sights work fine for me.

I like novaks, warrens, heinies, 10-8s and a few others but a couple of my glocks have plain-jane trijicons and they're fine.

My only strict rules are as follows:

They have to work well for me in low light.

Front has to be high-vis.

I have to find them easy to shoot accurately at 25 or 50m.

They have to be notch and post. No express sights.

I prefer tritium fronts but I don't have any experience with gold beads - they might be fine.

I'm good with solid black rears, two dot rears, one dot rears...doesn't matter.

No fiber optics. Seen too many break and I don't have dedicated competition guns.

I would like a 3 dot type (not night sights), like in the P30, but I am too lazy to swap them out. Plus I would hate having accuracy issues afterwards, like shooting high or low...
