Opinions on HS Precision HTR 338

I have not had it past 200m yet as I can only got on one range at the moment. As things as warming up around here I plan to head out the the longer range ASAP. So far so good! I am the biggest limit of the gun thus far.

HS makes nice actions. The down range performance of the well known custom actions is pretty much on par these days. HS makes a nice product!

I ordered a take down version in .338 Lapua. 2 yr wait approx. Oh well, I'll need that long to save up for it. LOL! The test targets they send with the rifles are amazing. My friend has one in .300 win that looks to be about a third of an inch. Not bad at all in my books.

Mine is also somewhat new. Have not had a chance to stretch things out yet as the only range with access right now only goes to 200m. 200m is almost a waste with it. As I mentioned above the biggest limitation on the rifle right now is having me behind it. It is spot on!! You can surely purchase some great rigs out there but for the money I think it was very good rifle.

I'd post some pics of gun and targets if I could ever figure out how to post pics on the forum!!! Can't seem to get pics off my computer onto the darn page!

Now I just have to start getting out to some of the local shoots.

You can also use the image icon above on new posts or replies (looks like a pair of mountains with a sun over the small one) and copy the URL tag from the photobucket site and paste it in the pop-up screen and the pop-up adds the
tags around the site address. Just coping the tag in the first place from the host site and pasting it into your text message is simpler and faster IMO.

Now lets see some pics...
