Does anyone have any experience with Pat Marlins Checkmaker Dies? I'm considering buying a set for .308 boolits.

Please let me know what you think!

If you would like to learn a bit about them there is a website: www.patmarlins.com/ This webpage also has links to some youtube videos of the dies in use.

As an aside I'm curious if there will be any trouble geting them into Canda. His website lists costs for international shipping, so I suppose it happens. But you never know when it comes to the red tape.

Thanks for your input.

there is at least 2 people/companies making Gas check makers
the other is Freechex III

One of them makes a complete gc in one operation

Lots of reading here on both types and lots of other info

price your raw material .........then price commercial gas checks........factor in your time and effort.........then decide

as a tool you can order it in accross the border no problem. I ordered a set of flip up scope covers and a box of gas checks from a supplier in the USA.......they told me that the scope covers could not be shipped to Canada because of ITAR..but it was okay for them to ship the gas checks.....go figure......
