opinions on pistol value please?

I see a lot of long guns, but got out of the short ones a long time back......

A friend of mine wishes to sell a Smith and Wesson Model 46 semi-auto .22 target pistol. I saw it yesterday and it is in good condition, with some pitting on one side of the slide/barrel. It has one mag, action is tight, bore is good.

I opined that it might be worth $200ish, but told him that was a rectal pluck.

What kind of money might this reasonably fetch?

Shame about the pitting, would be worth more but probably a good enough shooter. The 46 is a bit of an odd ball gun but not realy collectable. Not much collecting interest in the budget models.
