Opinions on scope covers

Hi I am thinking about getting some Butler Creek See-Thru Scope caps.
I shoot left-handed and was wondering how these thins would work.

They work great. You can have them flip up or sideways.

I can't comment on the see-thru type, but even the regular Butler Creek covers work great. Cheap & effective!

Cheap and effective...yes, but...find it hard to put these things on a fine scope that a guy has spent a few bucks on. The new Leupold flip-up scope covers are awesome.

What would you consider a "fine" scope. Is it a scope to use or to look at. If you use the proper size there is no problem. If a scope can't handle the installation of a set of scope covers then it isn't a fine scope in my opinion. Just curious why you would find it hard.

I swear by Butler Creek Flip Up Covers..........I've got them on all of my scopes....

Like gunasaurus, I'm all about the Butler Creek Flip-ups. I've got them on all of my scopes, too.
