opinions on Stag arms

Yup. I dunno what supplies are like right now but several months back I couldn't find them for love or money - they were back ordere out the wazoo and nobody around here could lay hands on them for at least a month. I ended up buying the Bushmaster because of it. Between you, me and the out house - I think the Stag is probably a better gun. The finish on them is 1st rate.

If somebody has the model you want and it is in stock - put some money down on it to take it off the market if all you are doing is waiting on permits.

Nothing wrong with your Bushy dude, for 99% of shooters they work and are awesome. I would not go with them for professional use just because of some of the testing they do not do. Having said said, I had over 22K out of a Bushy M4 without a single problem, I did have a Colt bolt in it though and the tube and gas keys staked properly.
