Opinions on the compact Ruger 10/22

No barrel band makes for a nicer looking stock imho

Short length of pull though.

I guess it's alright if it fits you. I already find the stock on the standard carbine almost uncomfortably short.

Yeah I held the basic 10/22 and thought it was really small. If the compact is even smaller than that it will feel like a kids gun.

I would try holding one before you go out and buy it, that is if you are planning on ordering online.

The 10/22 compact with 25rd magazines sticking out the bottom is fun.
