OPINIONS on These MOUNTS PLZ /10/22

Kinda like the see thru idea .but am leary if these will be sturdy /stay tight .

There a little on the ugly side but if there going on a 10/22 they should be ok.

I don't think there's any advantage in having see-through mounts, especially when they raise your scope height so much. If you really think you need to switch from scoped to unscoped, get some form of quick detach rings instead. Far better option IMO. Or else, just get another .22 that you can shoot with iron-sights and scope the other .

I'm with Geotrekr on that one... If you are in a situation were you don't trust you scope anymore, just take it off.

I'm kind of dissapointed that Leupold even made this things in the first place...

I posted a thread on the see through Weaver rail that I recently tried. My personal opinion is that the soft aluminum receiver on the 10/22,and the little screws that hold the rail or those rings in place are simply not strong enough to support a higher mount that has a large scope or red dot on top of it.
