Opinon on ChristensenArm rifles

I've shot two, 300 ultra and 300 wsm. They are very nice quality, fit and finish. They are also very light with the carbon fiber lined barrels. Both of them were nice to shoot with low felt recoil due to the muzzle brakes. Also very accurate. The mags are HS precision and a 10 shot is available for the short action, which is legal in canada (probably hard to get in canada now though).
You also get your name engraved on the side of the action!
Anyways don't know where you get them or how much, the two I shot came up from the states 2 years ago. Also don't know the cost.

Overpriced and gimmicky. I think the base model is like $2400.00 and the dont even use a quality barrel on it, its just the factory tube turned down and wrapped with Carbon fibre. Remington tupperware stock, and oh yeah, it has a brake on it - big deal! You could probably build a rifle that would put it to shame for the same money. My 2cents.
I agree that you can probably build a better rifle for the same money, but it is hard to get your hands on the parts you need. There is a few guys in BC that build custom rifles using all the good parts for a decent buck. They seem to be still getting what they need.
