optic cuts and other custom work in Canada?

Hey all, I'm itching to send my 2011 for an optic cut and maybe a cerakote job - so far I've only got Blackbox on the list but it'd be awesome to have an option closer to home in Ontario. Any suggestions?

I reached out to Blackbox about direct milling but they seem to only offer plate-mounted cuts. Searching all the options stateside has me a bit jealous of the variety of work available down there, but I'm very apprehensive about shipping a slide back and forth over the border.

Are you sure about that? They offered direct mount last time I checked with them.

Have 2 slides milled by Blackbox. No plates

Which slides did you guys inquire about? Maybe there was a communication issue - or they don't have the CNC instructions for direct milling a Staccato slide. Either is possible.

I reached out to Casey at TacOrd but he turned it down because of how busy they are, and how much work it entails to create the necessary CAD files for a slide they haven't done before.
