Looking for opinions on an optic for my 1301 tactical, I'm at that stage where the ghost ring is just told blurry for my eyes. I've heard the Burris Fast Fire mentioned but was wondering what everyone else's experiences were.

The Holosun 503 models have a large 65moa ring that can fairly approximate buckshot patterns.
The 507 models have a 35moa ring which doesn’t.
The 503 is usually cheaper too

Generally speaking shotgun dots should be on the large side. Your max range with slugs is around 100 yards anyway, so a dot that covers 7 inches at 100 (7 minute) should work just fine for hitting an 18 x 18 target at 100. The bigger dot is also a bit quicker and easier to acquire in close. The various circle dots 32 min and 65 min with a 1 or 2 minute centre are the best of both worlds, put the circle on and fire up close for speed or slow down a bit and have a fine dot for precision at distance.
