Optic sight on a Sig .45 1911

Anyone here put a red dot on a 1911? The Sig has a Novak cut rear sight grove and I can't find a mount that will allow me to install a optic. My first choice would be the C-MORE but they only make a mount for the narrow grove 1911's
Any help would be appreciated . Thanks.
 
Brownells m,akes a mount that replaces the right grip- don't see why that wouldn't work- it's about 70 us
 
Head to Burris's website. I believe they have a novak cut mount plate kit. The burris mounts also fit vortex venom & many others. The only problem you could run into is if its not a novak cut and some other propiatory (sp) cut. This happened to my son's S&W pro series, but we "made" it work.

Thanks. I located a JP Enterprises mount for the Novak cut, going to give that one a try. Already bought a C-More that wouldn't fit. Hopefully better luck this time.
