ok , I just bought a nightforce nxs3.5-15x50 scope ,( i have too many rifles, as you are about to guess) I can't decide which rifle to put it on , so i'd like some opinions please . Should it go on the .270 , .303 .,30/06 , .308 , 7mm WM , .300wm , 7.62x54r , or would you buy a diff cal for this scope ? It will be used for long range shooting and for hunting. My choices so far have been narrowed to either the 7mm or the .300 wm. What do you guys think ? and no , one can never have too many rifles ;)

that's a great idea , except for the fact that my time is so ridiculously booked up that driving the 75k to get to the only range to resight in everytime gets to be a pain, and i hate last minute sight ins , one tends to get sloppy and settle for a less than perfect sighting in . So I plan to get a few more, Although i do have scopes on everything else. I actually wanted to put it on the best choice for a long range rifle , i know the .303 is out right there of course , but the others all have their merit

If you put the rails on all of your rifles, and sight in once with each rifle, just record the zeros and you shouldn't have to sight in everytime. Problem solved.

see , now i knew that , and didn't even think of it , thats what forums are for , thank you sooo much totally forgot about that , makes it real easy since it's good practice to goto the range before hunting anyway to make sure you're still sighted in properly , that would just save me a lot of time :)
