Got this a little while ago...it's gonna be my Number One (no pun intended):p big game rifle...I plan on shooting the iron sights mostly, but want a scope for when and if I hunt an area needing a longer shot...Looking for recomendations on some glass that will hold true from the recoil of this cartridge...Don't wanna spend a fortune...but something that will obviously last a long time..leupold, bushnell, Zeiss...model specific....etc...

Thanks..

I put 3-9 and 3.5-10 on my .375s. Zeiss Diavari and Leupold VX3s. May as well put the most versatile scopes on the most versatile cartridge.

The .375 isn't hard on scopes. They don't feel how hard the rifle strokes you, the stress on a scope is how fast it is accellerated and how fast it stops.

Try to find used Burris 4x20mm Mini, its light, tough as nails and has 5"+ eye relief! I use couple of them without issues for close to three decades now. They can be bought usually in exc condition for under $200 or so.

i have a #1 in 45-120 , and it has had a older 4x redfield widefield on it since i put the rifle together .

many of my rifles have similar scopes , all with zero issues .

i really like the way ruger has built their scope mounts . you can easily remove the scope and then put it back on and still have the rifle shoot exactly where you zero'd it previously .
