I have a Remington 600 in .222 with an old Weaver K4 on it but thought something with variable power would be nice. The 600 is a very compact rifle so I would like something that aesthetically would match the rifle. Budget is around $250...suggestions?

Try one of the new Redfields. I have the same rifle (great little walk about coyote gun, by the way), and have a 3-9 Weaver on it (I think, hard to keep track). If I were to re-scope it, I would first look at the new Redfields, a lot of scope for the money. FWIW - dan
