optics on nea upper handguard. what would you run

Do these red dot sights work well so far forward? I mean doesn't the optic get harder to use (smaller hole to look through) when you push it THAT far away from your eyes?

Gotta train yourself to shoot with both eyes open when using forward mounted optics. That being said, it still takes some practice and gettin used to.
