Optics suggestion ?

I've read and heard so much about the Falcon scopes. I sure it's very good but all the reviews I've read have always been in use at shooting ranges or matches. Has any one had real hunting or extreme exposure to the weather experiences with these Falcon scopes. I'm asking because I'm also considering one for my 700 SPS tactical.

I have a 4x14x44 ffp on my XCR compact tactical. I haven't used it for hunting "yet" (first time will be in a few hours, lol). However, the last shoot we had at the range we had roughly 80 km/hr + winds and sheets of horizontal rain right in my face. It was pouring. We had to put the targets in clear plastic bags and it took two of us to get them on the backer board. A couple of the members here can vouch for the weather conditions, lol.

The scope was as clear as a bell. Zero problems. I had a much harder time trying to see through my safety glasses, lol. It was brutal. Anybody in their right mind would not be hunting in those conditions, let alone sitting at a bench at a range, lol. Only a few of the hardcore stuck around and shot, lol. I don't think you'll have any problems with it in "extreme" weather, weather doesn't get much more extreme than where I'll be using this rifle/scope, lol. (North Atlantic, lol)
