I'm a newb to the group so forgive me if this is a repost...

What options are out there for butstocks that have the ability to hold extra shells? I am aware of speedfeed and the Knoxx Specops with powerpack.

I am a big fan of pistol grips, and of keeping a gun somewhat simple, and for those reason I love the Speedfeed III - you get a sleek pistol grip butstock with 4 extra rounds while keeping them out of the way. Its been a while since I used one though - can you fit 2 3" shells in each tube or only 2 X 2 3/4"? I do remember that they were not the easiest to get out of the stock.

I have never shot anything with a Knoxx Specops on it, but I understand the reduction of felt recoil is great. The length adjustability is a turnoff to me (too choppy and jagged), but you get to carry an extra round with the powerpack and you can put them on either side.

So what else is out there?

There's always these little things... they are not very tacti-cool, but at $12 to your door ;) they do the job.

For about $40 I like this one...it has a zippered pocket, nice padding for the cheek and velcro straps to secure the pouch on the stock.

Knoxx pwr Pak a great buy with their collapsible stock.

Below is $35ish Tactical Taylor shell holder. Was going to get the pouch and padding version above made by Eagle but DSTactical didn't have any in stock at the time.

Dangles, is that a factory flash supressor lookin thing you have or is it aftermarket? Sure looks sharp. And what kind of optics are on your other one?

Those aren't mine, I pulled em off Google. My 870 is bone stock :).

Edit: I don't know anything about that flash hider, but if you're looking for a cool breaching-type barrel check out S&J Hardware (http://www.sjhardware.com/). They have a couple in the accessories section.
