Hi:
After mounting and zeroing in my scope and rifle, I notice that the windage had to be adjusted to the far left.
From my zero, I can move the windage 45 clicks to the left before I run out of room; and 186 clicks to the right. Ideally I thought you should be pretty close to the middle (so 115 clicks left or right) so that you have equal adjustments left or right.
I am using the Burris Signature rings with the offset to gain some elevation (-/+ 20 offsets rear, -/+10 offsets front). I am using a single piece base.
So my crazy idea was to crank my zero 10" towards the middle, and then rotate the front offsets 90 degrees so that the front of the scope moves to the right. I lose a bit of elevation, but in theory, I now have 85 clicks left, 146 clicks right.
My question is if there's any other option I'm not thinking of. I guess the root problem is that something is off (base mounting holes, rings, etc).
Thanks!
