Today I attended the ORA ATT course at Langemark Range, Base Borden.
Tim was prompt, courteous, open to questions of all sorts and ran us through the rules and regs of shooting on DND ranges. Our classroom time was followed by an observation period during which we were to show our proficiency in handling pistols and ammunition. Our group was all passed without issue and it was really cool to meet some new guys and stretch out the weapons a bit.
A big thanks goes out to Tim, Brian, and Terry for setting things up, teaching us in a safe way, being mindful of our newness, and giving me some confidence going into the service conditions season.
This is getting fun.
