The ORA Precision Championship takes place on Saturday the 9th starting at 8 am. It will be held at the Amiens range in Borden. It only goes to 500 yards, so the format may change somewhat from previous events. Hoping for rain...:D :D :D

The weather on Saturday pretty much took it easy on us. Rain for the first 15 minutes, then overcast and light winds for most of the day. Attendance was light this year...maybe the forecast had something to do with it. These competitions put on by the ORA are great practice for precision/sniper at the NSCC.

Congratulations to Gord O. for winning the individual overall high aggregate. Superlative shooting, had to be his wind coach! :dancingbanana:

Thanks Terry,
Great shooting with you again.
It should be noted that Terry shot 3 perfect(HPS) stage scores and with him as a partner we won the Team Match Agg.
It was a very close match with only 1 point separating 1,2 and 3 positions.
(I just have to remember that "3 minutes left" is a not a wind call but time remaining :))
Thanks to Paul B. and John for putting on the matches.
Hope to see some more CGN shooters come out for next years matches.

Congrats to Terry and Gord for being an awsome sniper pair. Unfortunately, lead removal on the 1000y Mons range forced us to shoot on the 500y Amiens range. There was rain, there was wind and there even was some sunshine. All-in-all everyone had a great time. I'm looking forward to next year. Paul is going to set up some practice days for newbies next year. So, if you like to try out some challenging shoots from 300 to 800yards, join the ORA and come out and have a blast next year. Check the ORA website in late winter or early spring for details
