ORA Precision Match July 8th Mons Range

Our second match of the year is now scheduled for July8th at Mons Range. Please plan on being there for 7am this time for target setup, administration and the safety briefing. As usual plan on shooting from 200 out to 800 yards. Match fees are $25.00 for ORA members and an additional $45.00 fee will be required for non-ORA members. Let me know if you plan on attending as soon as possible so that I can get our targets ordered..........

Planning on being there. This will be my first precision match, I don't have a partner so I'm hoping I can partner up with someone at the range.
 
Holy crap! The top end scores were phenomenal, the highest I've ever seen. The best shooter of the day scored 245 out of 250. That's 98% on snaps, movers, and deliberates. Congratulations to Kevin C. and his wind-wise partner.
 
Terry/Tomaz's wind calls were exceptional and spot on as always, hard to keep up with their wind reading and Terry's 2 perfect scores.

Kombayotch has to stop drilling those v-bulls and breaking the sticks on the movers. There should be some point deduction for destruction of targets.

Big thanks to Rudy for his efforts and for putting on a great show. Good to see everyone as always.
 
Those stick hit can really mess you up... the bullet deflects and from the splash on the backstop it look like you're way too early or way too late. It's really tempting to adjust your lead when that happens.
 
What's a '4' ? :confused:

I shot the Milcun PR a couple weekends ago and had a bullet blow up on me on the 500m match. That's much worse a 4... :(
