I bought a new Oracle 5 years ago and due to life I finally got around to putting some optics on it and taking it to the range.

My question is to do with the trigger. To me it seems extremely heavy. I've read that factory triggers are often less than ideal but will wear in and lighten up somewhat with use. How many rounds does this normally take? Ballpark. I'd like to give it a chance before I upgrade.

Thanks for your input.

I just recently bought an Oracle and was shooting it on the weekend.. I rather liked the trigger actually.. I'll have to run some more rounds through it to be sure but I sighted my scope in nicely for 100yds in about 20min.

I'm a huge fan of the ALG trigger for the money. I've used a lot of high end triggers of the years on ARs including Geiselle and Triggertech, but I always end up back at square one with an ALG ACT in my rifles. It's light/crisp enough to make hits out to the usable ranges of an AR and the pull weight isn't too light. Milspec trigger characteristics, but improved in every way.

Alg qms is a great value trigger. Their act or the bcm pnt are also excellent triggers.

As for milspec triggers they should smooth out after the first 2000 rounds.
