Order arrived couple of questions

Firstly thanks for the superb packaging and communication.
I ordered a Ruger 10-22 take down and the X22 stock both on sale so I couldn't resist, now I'd like to fit a sling and have the option to add a scope/red dot so

1- Which Magpul sling attachments do I need? I'm looking to get a two point sling
2- Which sling would you recommend?
3-The Ruger comes with an aluminium rail to screw into the action but I'm wondering if there's another option or whether its a decent stock piece?

4-Is there anything else I should upgrade out of the box?

This is my first rifle other than an AR15 I'm currently building with some assistance and I'm amazed how easy it was to switch stocks.


Do you sell the parts if so my CC is primed lol

The back packer stock has an available scope mount that attaches to the barrel. It hold zero better than the receiver mounted rail.

A nice mod out of the box to do on a 10/22 is the auto bolt release mod. Google it, pretty easy to do.

Then if you want, you can swap the steel buffer for a rubber/squishy one. I think they go for 10-15$ and it'll help your bolt a lot and sound less like metal hitting metal while cycling, making it very smooth.


Then, buy a #### ton of ammo.
