I just ordered a ruger compact laminate in 260 rem and cant wait for it to show up. Anyone else have this rifle. I think I will mount a vx3 2.5-8. Should be a nice addition to the safe and its first hunt will be for goats if i get my LEH. Are there any reloading tips for loading in such a short barrel or do I just stick with the regular 260 powders.

Im with you, I picked one up in .243 for my wife, havent' shot it yet. Its a pretty handy little package. I put a 2-7x33 VXII on it.
