Having owned a Vectronix in the past I'm spoiled when it comes to pointing at just about anything and getting an accurate measurement on the first crack. The 2700B has struggled for me on most things past 2000 yards. It will range trees at 2550 yards but only after multiple attempts. I haven't played around with the internal Leica ballistic program much....but I did compare some of the generic curves in the rangefinder with Strelok Pro and they were close. My 2700B never seems to produce an accurate temperature reading though. Not sure if that's the case with all of them or just mine. It always seems to be off by 3 or 4 degrees. All in all it's an alright rangefinder.
