Hey I'm looking to order a .22lr receiver and trigger system for a 10/22 from down south.

Anyone know if this is an issue at the border, products are made in the u.s.a.

The reason I'm asking is because its .22lr stuff and not like I'm trying to piece together an ar-15 or something crazy like that

I hate to rain on your parade, but unless you go through a mountain of paperwork and get a sheet load of costly permits you'll never get them here.
Long story....short ending

what's the big deal about it though?

So they treat all firearm parts the same, regardless on the type of firearm?

anything that can be mounted on a gun or pass through a gun or used as a gun is covered by the homeland security export block.
so you need a permit to export it OUT of the states.
that is the same for even going down there and buying items.

safest thing to do is find a importer in canada and wait for them to get the item in you want.
if its 10/22 stuff try wanstalls or mil-arm thats who i got my stuff from.
