It would assist in answering your question if we knew your location. The second step would be to define how much ammo you consider "bulk". A case of 500 rounds? 10 cases?

Im looking for .223 Rem 55grain.
looking for anywhere from 400 - 100 rounds. all depends on the price.
I was hoping to do better than 50 cents a round - am i being too optimistic??
also, is it that much of a difference between 55 grain and 65 grain?

as I have not ordered online before, how does it work? does the ammo come right to your house (in the mailbox?) or what?

Seriously, it all depends on the gun your shooting the ammo out of.Barrels with a twist rate of 1 :12" like up to 55 grain bullets, much heavier and the barrel wont stabilize the bullet. If you have a faster twist barrel, you can go heavier!
