I want to order a whole bunch of stuff to re-do my 10/22. I had lots of fun last night but I want it to be a little more accurate.

I am looking at getting a new GB Fluted 18" Barrel, a Bell & Carlson Ruger 10/22 Anschutz Style Stock and some internal upgrades. Along with the target hammer kit, bolt release and magazine hitch release, and maybe a new trigger.

Anyways, that total is about 350-400 bucks depending on what I want. I've searched and found the previous posts before but I wanted a definite answer.

Should I order the stock and barrel together or seperatly? Should I do one $100 order for the internal trigger parts so they get through. I am not quite sure on the laws regarding rimfire parts.

Can anyone clarify?

58 views and no replys, I just placed an order with rimfire and I will post how long it takes to receive. ( I have been waiting for 2 weeks for a set of sites from Brownells)

I ordered parts and I get it in 5 days. Maybe ordering the barrel separatly will be a good idea. Since shipping is free, it change nothing for you if you can wait a little in between each order...

I have no luck... see my posts in other threads.
Bottom line; ordered my 597 mags back in May... I might see them this week.
My understanding is that this is very much the exception rather than the rule.
I will be placing another order in the next month or two.

I ordered a tactical solutions barrel from rimfiresports yesterday, I will post when it arrives.

If I have no luck modifying a factory stock, I will be buying a stock from a dealer in Vancouver. I plan on doing a Volquartsen action pack which I thought I would get from rimfire sports, as well as a scope mount and a few other bits and pieces.

If I cant find a 10/22 magnum bolt handle in Canada (Western Gun Parts?) I will get that from brownells along with a bunch of other goodies I need for 1911s and other guns.

I have to dig out my old HB 10/22 and tune her up and see how well she does against the current batch of ultimate 10/22s that are out there. I put her together in the 90s when there were no problems bringing in parts from the states, although the selection of parts were very slim.

One of these days we should create a sticky post here in the rimfire forums with links to all the vendors in Canada that stock parts, then all the vendors in the US that stock parts, and finally links to all the 10/22 fanboy sites as well as sites that are useful for non 10/22 owners.

I've ordered a couple of things for my 10/22 from Rimfire Sports before...and I was pretty happy with the promptness and the service. I did have to wait a little longer, but I guess you can't blame the guy for waiting for a couple more orders to come through before he makes a trip to the post office. I wasn't in a big rush anyway.

I just ordered a bunch of Volquartsen stuff yesterday...this time I thought I'd try Hawk Tech Arms. Same deal as Rimfire with the free shipping to Canada, and prices are similar too...was only a couple of bucks USD cheaper than the identical stuff at Rimfire. I'll let you all know how it goes. They confirmed my payment and shipped my order the same day that I ordered it...looks like a good start so far. :)

Well, I received my shipment today from Hawk Tech Arms, and I couldn't be happier!

I ordered and paid for my parts on August 20 (Monday), and just about a week later, it shows up in my mailbox today! Price and service were very fast and excellent...parts were readily available, and no hassles at all across the line. Still free shipping to Canada...can't ask for more.

I highly recommend these guys. Cheers.
