Ordering Nill Grips Direct From Germany

Nill produces the arguably finest wood grips for handguns (and now even long guns).

They were standard equipment on my German SIG P210 Super Target.
I really like them and everyone who handles the pistol is amazed by them.

I did some research and ordered a set direct from them in Germany for my 357Mag Manurhin MR73.

Just had to fill out a simple ITAR End-User declaration for them.

They charged US$35 to ship via UPS and it arrived at my door in three days!
UPS charged Cdn$10 to collect HST.

The prices on their web site reflect German VAT which is removed from overseas purchases.

You have to call them directly to avoid the crazy 19% "online purchase credit card processing fee" but they speak English and it went very smoothly.
They do not have a toll free number but you can use mytello for pennies, (first call free anyhow).

The grips fit the pistol perfectly and are immaculately finished.
You can choose light or dark walnut - I went with dark and XL for my big mitts.

All in all, a very favourable experience.

I did not find them ideal on a heavy recoiling short barrelled 629 (I couldn't control the roll and they really pounded the webbing between the thumb and index) but other than that I really like them too and you can't beat the wood quality.

The smaller wood grips for the P210 (the ones with the palm swell that came stock on the German Target model) are also amazing.

Of course I have the German rubber Trausch grips the M73 came with which are excellent for absorbing heavy recoil.

The Nill grips will be for lighter 38 loads (and showing off LOL)

Those Nills on your Manurhin are alot different than the standard smooth ones I had on my 44. Don't think you would run into the same issue i had with those or in a 357 for that matter. Never handled the Trausch grip. They always looked a little awkward to me but apparently they are effective. The Manurhin deserves the Nills!

They'll do anything you ask them to do, helps a lot if you visit their shop. I have a handful of their grips, as well as a stock for my K80... By far the best company for grips and stocks in my mind...

I just got a set for my Python; I have a few other sets of Nill grips on various S&W revolvers to replace the stock rubber grips.
