for those that have ordered a handgun from Cabelas online store, how long did it take you to receive your firearm? the store doesn't have any P226s but the online store does and unless another store in Edmonton gets them in tomorrow, I'll be buying online. Also as I'm not entirely sure, the only current production model of the P226 comes with the E2 grips, the SRT trigger and the rail correct?

I dont believe the P226 on Cabelas website comes with the SRT or night sights, that's the Elite series. The P226 on their website has the E2 grips, rail and looks like the short trigger (not to be confused with the short reset trigger) but often online retailers don't have accurate product pictures. I'd fire them an e-mail or call to confirm the exact features, but I bet it's the standard base model P226. Still a nice pistol and everything can be added later if it matters to you.
well the SRT doesn't really matter that much to me at the moment. so long as it has the E2 grips and the rail I'm happy.
Also I was recently at Cabelas yesterday and the guy had said to just order online, as it would be faster then having them ship it from another store. now whether he just wanted me gone as they were very busy and just said that, I can't say for certain. but I'm gonna head to a couple gun stores tomorrow and see if they have what I'm looking for. If not I'll just order online.
