Ordering reloading equipment

Cabelas wont ship to Canada reloading press. So I'm currently getting one sent to NY near the border to pick it up.
I had one sent last week but it was the wrong caliber so I left it at my broker and they sent UPS to pick it up and sent the other one monday.

They are very friendly and want you business. I'll deal with them again, can't wait for the Mirabel's store in Qc.

Wrong calibre press???...Maybe thats why I have so many.;)

X2 Sinclair International. They are serious about the "International" and very helpful. Lots of others aren't.

I often order dies, boxes, tools and accessories from Cabela's, and yes, it's still cheaper than WS. Sinclair tends to be more pricey, but they do have the higher-end stuff in stock

MidSouth Shooters Supply will ship all reloading gear(no components), best prices in U.S......They're in Tenn. and I like to phone them just to hear the gals on the other end with their drawwwwl. i tell them they should be able to spell Saskatchewan as I can spell Tennessee.(I think)

Do you find the total price still cheaper than say Wholesale Sports or SIR?

Well 124.99$us + 12.99$ shipping for a Lee Pro 1000 press...

they sell at MINIMUM 230$ here..

Yeah, was to buy Online, saw that the .40s&w lee pro 1000 press was BO, so I called a few Cabelas in the US and found one that had one, so I faxed my order, and got a .45ACP instead...

The .40 is en route with UPS, got the tracking number :)

Midsouth is good, although they usally require a US money order instead of a canadian credit card. A few quick emails will get you the exact amount required, so no big deal. I just got an RCBS Chargemaster from them and saved well over $200. Plus they actually had it in stock unlike every place in Canada that I tried.

I just received an RCBS RC master reloading kit that I purchased from a company on eBay. Took about 4 weeks to arrive and after conversion, shipping & duty it was about $100 cheaper than russells! :D
No problem with customs!

Zulu Mike: you make no mention of the girls on the other end that talk funny....I've never had to use a money order for Mid South....Maybe it's be cause I chat the girls up, I invite them up to Canada but they don't know where it is!! I tell them its north of them and they say " is that like up in New York State somewhere?"

Have ordered from cabelas and they are good, their site automatic does the duty and taxes. However, its very limited as to what you can get from them. Even dies will automatically be removed from your shopping cart when you put in your Canadian address.

^ I've purchased dies from them many many times. Unless the item says 'shipping restrictions may apply' on the item page, it'll ship

Go and try it now,I used to be able to get dies from them a while back, but almost everything is now restricted, it states will not ship to your address, when you go to the checkout after you verify your shipping address. I tried a Cabelas tumbler, RCBS dies and Lyman DPS ll powder dispenser last night, all are listed as restricted to a Canadian Address and will not let you complete the order. You can add stuff to your shopping basket to see which will make it through, but very little reloading stuff is now allowed. The only dies it will let through were the Redding.
