OK I've got my pistol and rifle and the registrations and LTATTs. How do you organize your paperwork? I made copies of everything and I'm keeping the originals in my locking gun cabinet. Do you guys trim the forms down to the essentials and laminate them? Put them in page protectors whole? What works best for you?

I scan my registration certificates and arrange them two across, eight to a page. I then print out double sided so I can get all my cert's on to two sheets. I put a copy of those along with my LTATT in a zip lock bag and put one set in my range bag and in any of my gun cases used to carry restricted guns. That way I never have to worry about making sure I have the right paperwork for whichever toy I bring out to the range.

I bought a 69 cent plastic duo tang and a pack of 25 page protectors. Put the page protectors in the duo tang. My atts go in the first protector, registration certs after that. The whole deal cost about 3 bucks.

Some guys seem to take great pride in ownership of the documents forced upon us by Liberal Overlords. :)

Not me, I chuck them all in a ziploc and throw them in the bottom of a range box and forget about them. In the very unlikely scenario that an RCMP wants to inspect my paperwork, he can wait while I dig them out. In over 25 years of firearm ownership I've only had to produce my PAL to peace officers once or twice, always while hunting, never going to the range. I've never had to show my ATT (or carry permit as they used to be called) or a registration certificate.

My PAL goes in my wallet in case I want to buy a gun on a whim. :)

This is pretty much what I do but I have a pocket in my range bag that I stuff all the paperwork in, range bag always goes with me so I'm good no matter what I take out!

RPAL stays in wallet. copys of cert and LTATT in pocket and gun case. I guess i should cover then or laminate since its good for 5 years and so on.

Thanks gents, good suggestions.

I'll trim the LTATTs and reg certs at the 'cut here' marks and get all the info onto as small a space as possible, I only have the two resrtricteds so far. The pages will get laminated and put into my carry cases.
The transport regs will get printed and page protected and that'll do 'er.

Oh, 'Better call Sol' info is on my phone:cool:
