Original C3 sniper rifle scope value

I would think it would have far greater value to a guy building a C3 clone or finishing one etc... optically they were ok but the Zeiss 6x,42 gave a better image as did Swarovski....who made the Kahles.... steel tubes on the kahles are nice...but heavier and also were available on the swarovski line.... not to say the kahles is shoddy by any means....but I think it's best value lies with the guy completing a 'set' not specifically looking for best optical performance...(had plenty of opportunity to look at/through the kahles when they were in 'service' to form this opinion such as it is fwiw....)
