Original CZ-75 Value ?

Hi guys ! I could buy an Original CZ-75 model (not 75B) with the rounded trigger guard and the matte grey finish on it. The finish is about 90-95% intact on the gun and the barrel is crisp and shiny. The mag doesn't have numbers to indicate the numbers of rounds loaded. My question is, how is it worth ? Is it a desirable pistol to have or not particularly ? I'm curious to hear your opinions. I know that the CZ-75 is an awesome reliable pistol and that it's built like a tank but I just don't know about its collectible value.

That's just a plain Pre-B, and is nothing special, other than it's a Pre-B. $450-$600 or something like that, if in good condition.

I will add, however, that the Pre-B I had, had a better trigger than the 85C I have now.

$400 if in good condition is a decent price.
Be advised, newer 75 mags don't work in Pre-Bs. You either have to mod the gun or get compatible mags.
My last excursion down that road was $75US/mag, and that was some time ago.

$400 is a good price. They frequently sell on the EE for $550 or so. It was my first pistol back in '91, and I still have it. It's one of my best shooters to this day...

As stated earlier, current CZ75 mags don't fit... you can carefully file inside the magwell (YouTube is your friend), but I've never bothered.

If someone know where I could get the right mags right now please point me out the source. I seems kind of hard to find...
 
Got some for my Pre-B from these guys.

But that was quite some time ago. No even sure custom still ships mags out of the US anymore. Check with them and find out.

I purchased two pre B 75's a few years ago. A 9mm and a .40 S&W. I sold the 9mm but kept the .40 S&W as I have never heard of another one in that calibre. Wish I had also kept the 9mm now.
 
I have one of these that had the polymer finish (paint). Look carefully for cracks in the frame around any hole close to the top of the frame. I did the mod to mine so all mags would work, simple. Looks like a million after I Cerakoted it! I would not expect to get over 350 for it so I will just keep it. I also did the trigger in mine cutting way down on the creep. Excellent guns.
